This is Life & Death. Three kilos of hops and forty kilos of barley selflessly give their lives to brew every barrel of this beer. It’s a lot to ask, but their reincarnation as this life-affirming IPA makes their sacrifice worthwhile. A ballsy, US-style IPA, expect flavours of tropical & citrus fruits, with a lingering bitterness set against a smooth malty backbone.

About Vocation
John Hickling worked in a bank and, while the money was good, he had a desire for more than spreadsheets. After co-founding, and later selling, his first brewery in 2008 he realised brewing was his vocation. So, in 2015 Vocation was born with one member of staff, a rebuilt chicken shed, and a dog for company. Since then Vocation has been brewing bold beers because that’s the way they like them. From their hilltop in Yorkshire Vocation would rather set benchmarks than trends, only making beer that they're proud to put their name on.
